Summary
My 1st project with BBC News was to create a Figma based Design system and component Library for adoption by the BBC News Digital Designers.
BBC previously used Adobe XD as their 'weapon of choice' for their design work. Figma has since become the natural path forward for all digital design output.
I've since set up a BBC News tokenised brand identity, together with creating a token based 'drag & drop' component library.
This has enabled better collaboration and consistency across design output, whilst providing a foundation for further integration and expansion of the design system for Web, Social & TV outputs across BBC News.
