A London based consumer based consultancy & research company that provides retail clients with the expertise and systems to capture, analyse and report real-time customer interactions. This information is then used to respond and improve the company's 'customer brand experience'.
Watermelon Research gave me full rein to structure and design the site that would best promote their services. I was responsible for essentially everything, from Art Direction on illustration work, copy writing, design, infographics & iconography, through to UI & UX. The site is currently in development.
I updated their logo to better reflect their brand position and company ethos.
To a new visitor, it was quite a challenge on their exisiting site to fully understand the service Watermelon provided. I've hopefully solved that issue by asking 3 very simple questions and incorporating that as the website's primary navigation.
Watermelon don't take themselves to seriously, so we created a fun character called 'Melvyn the Melon' to add a bit of light-hearted amusement to proceedings. Melvyn and 'friends' were illustrated by a good friend (and fantastic Illustrator) Jenny Law, while I produced all infographics and iconography for the website.
Step-by-step slides are used to help communicate Watermelons engagement process.
Simplistic iconography has been designed for use both on the website and in Presentation decks used by Watermelons Account Managers.
Case Studies form an important role in communicating real-life scenarios, that provide evidence on how a businesses' services can positively impact bottom line. By breaking down the Case Study into 3 key sections, Watermelon can consistently map challenges, solutions and results to real life situations.
